Rachael Gauthier

Rachael is joining us a Physiotherapist Resident which means that she has recently completed the physiotherapy program at the esteemed Queens University. Rachael completed both her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and her Masters in Physiotherapy at Queens.  Rachael also has a certificate in Disability and Physical Activity.

Rachael is passionate about helping people return to the activities that matter most to them, using exercise had education to empower individuals throughout their journey.

She currently resides in Kemptville with her partner and her cat, Sammy.  Outside the clinic, Rachael enjoys crocheting, baking sourdough, spending time at the barn with her horse, and going for long walks.

Rachael is looking forward to supporting the comminity and helping each person she works with live well and reach their goals! Rachael is thrilled to begin her career at Activate and we are super excited to have her as part of the team!

Reid Jones

Reid is joining us as a Physiotherapy Assistant. She graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Science Honours Specialization in Kinesiology, where she gained valuable experience as an athletic trainer for multiple varsity sports teams. Reid plans to continue her education journey next year by pursuing a Master's in Physical Therapy.  Outside of work, she enjoys painting, crocheting, running, and spending time at the gym.  

Reid's looking forward to meeting everyone and supporting the team in helping clients achieve their goals.

Lindsey Greatrix

Lindsey brings a dynamic blend of experience, education, and passion for wellness to her practice as a Registered Massage Therapist. A graduate of the Massage Therapy program at Algonquin College in 2019, Lindsey has recently returned to Brockville from Alberta, where she also worked as a physical education teacher. Her background in both athletics and education gives her a unique, well-rounded perspective on health and movement.

 

Whether you're an athlete working on performance, recovering from an injury, or simply seeking everyday maintenance, Lindsey provides client-centered care tailored to your specific needs. Her goal is always to help you move better, feel better, and get back to being your best self.

 

An active individual herself, Lindsey enjoys running, working out, and is a former competitive figure skater. She recently got married and is excited to be back in the Brockville community, offering her skills and passion to help others thrive.

Steve Craig-Pettem

Steve is a dedicated and passionate Physiotherapist who has been practicing since 2016. He holds an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario and completed his Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland.

As co-owner of Activate Physiotherapy Health and Wellness, Steve runs the clinic alongside his wife, Sarah. The name Activate reflects Steve’s core philosophy: “active + educate = activate”—a belief that effective physiotherapy combines movement and knowledge to empower every client. He takes a people-first approach, focusing not just on treating injuries, but on supporting the whole person.

With a background in high-level competitive sports, Steve brings a deep understanding of athletic performance and recovery. This allows him to create tailored, sport-specific rehabilitation programs that help athletes return to peak condition safely and efficiently. His broad clinical experience and ongoing commitment to continuing education make him a trusted and skilled practitioner across all patient populations.

Sarah Jarvis

Sarah is the co-owner of Activate Physiotherapy Health and Wellness and a Registered Health and Wellness Coach with a deep passion for helping people improve their overall well-being. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources Management from Toronto Metropolitan University and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, where she plans to specialize in health psychology.

Since moving to Brockville in 2017, Sarah has become an active member of the community. She currently serves as a board member and director with the Brockville and Area Community Foundation, where she spearheaded the creation of Activate’s own endowment, the Activate Health and Wellness Initiative Fund, aimed at supporting local health and wellness projects.

Sarah offers personalized coaching in areas such as stress management, nutrition, exercise guidance, and lifestyle support, blending evidence-based strategies with compassionate care. Her mission is to help clients not only improve their physical health, but also build sustainable habits that support long-term mental and emotional well-being.

Zach Lockhart

Zach is a dedicated Physiotherapist with several years of experience.  He completed his undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph, followed by his Master's of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. Zach's rehabilitation approach focuses on education and exercise, empowering his clients to get back to doing what matters most to them.  He lives in the area with his wife, dog & tabby cat Oliver.

 

Outside of work, Zach enjoys travelling, playing rugby and basketball, and spending time with family. We are very fortunate to have such a driven, compassionate and intelligent Physiotherapist in Zach as part of our staff.

Leah Syrie

With 20 years in the fitness industry, Leah began her journey training for the Canadian Forces, where she proudly served in an Administrative position for 13 years and retired as a Sergeant.  Her military background instilled the discipline and drive that continue to shape her approach to health and fitness today. 

Leah is the owner of two local businesses in Brockville, BECC - Brockville's Elite Conditioning Center, and Tier1 Supplements and Studio where she leads a strong, supportive community. 

Outside the gym, she enjoys family life with her husband and her 17 year old daughter, along with music, movies and reading.

Leah brings a breadth of experience to the Office Administrator role and we feel beyond lucky to have her as part of the team.
