Injury Rehabilitation


Concussion management has greatly changed over the years. Gone are the days of dark rooms with zero stimulation.  Rehabilitation after concussion is very helpful to improve symptoms and manage concussions better.

A newer concept has come into the Physiotherapy world and that is pre-habilitation.  This means getting yourself prepared for the upcoming surgeries.  You look to improve your strength, range of motion, reduce pain, increase function and quality of life prior to surgery.  Research into this topic is still in the early stages, but research has shown if you can make significant improvements prior to surgery than you will have significant improvements in the short-term recovery process as well.


Going through surgery, whether minor or major can be challenging mentally and physically.  We are here to help you through that process. 

Prehab/post surgical 

The term 'chronic pain' can be daunting for many.  One definition of this means pain that lasts longer than 6 months or longer than expected duration of tissue healing rate.  

Many people believe chronic pain cannot be improved or changed, however, many times this is not the case. Living with chronic pain is very challenging, but we are here to help improve your quality of life.
